So, basically, either I set system default back to my sound card before opening SC2 so that I can hear game sound (but stream viewers can't), or I leave it on virtual cable and no one can hear game sound.Īny help greatly appreciated. This is because sending "SB Live! 24 bit"/"What u hear" into cable 1 does not work. I did upgrade from version 4.01 to 4.10.Ģ) I get blue screens pretty often when changing audio settings, when using audio repeater. I used to be able to get SC2 audio, but now I can't. This used to work perfectly.ġ) When I change my system default from "SB Live! 24 bit"(my sound card) to "Virtual Cable 2", and then start SC2, the only output option in SC2 is "Default" - all of the other options are gone - and I receive no game audio, even with the audio repeater running perfectly (I can test by playing music through my browser, to make sure audio repeater is working). I've set it up like this:Īs you can see, this allows me to get all audio to go to the stream, and all audio minus my microphone going back to my headphones. I've set my system default audio to Virtual Cable 2, so that my browser and everything else goes to cable 2.
